Our pro-am will be played over four rounds playing the two best courses on the island twice: the Gunung Raya Golf Resort designed by American Max Wexler and the 99 East Golf course designed by Australian Ross Watson. A great week of golf awaits you playing together with an Australian senior or club professional in a team with your friends, staying at one of the best resorts the island has to offer with dinner parties every night. On your day off you will be enjoying a private cruise with lunch. Join us and win great prizes and trophies and make new friends. We also have a great non-golfing program available if you would like to bring your non-golfing partner.
The Schedule
Sunday, 30 June Arrive at Langkawi airport. You will be greeted at Langkawi Airport and transfered to the Andaman Resort. In the evening Cocktail Party at the pool and dinner. Meet your fellow golfers.
Monday, 1 July Buffet Breakfast. Transfer to the Gunung Raya Golf Resort for the first round of the "Andaman Langkawi Ultimate Golf Challenge Pro-Am". You play with caddies and carts. Lunch at the clubhouse. In the evening Welcome Dinner Party with open bar and lots of fun at the Andaman Langkawi Resort.
Tuesday, 2 July Buffet Breakfast. Transfer to the East 99 Golf Course for the second round of the event. You play with caddies and carts. Lunch at the clubhouse. In the evening BBQ Dinner Party at the Andaman Langkawi Resort with open bar.
Wednesday, 3 July Buffet Breakfast. Spend a leisurely day on the finest yacht Langkawi has to offer. A private cruise with great cuisine, drinks and lots of fun in the calm waters of the island. Transfer back to the Andaman Langkawi Resort. Evening at your leisure. Discover Langkawi's night life.
Thursday, 4 July Buffet Breakfast. Transfer to the 99 East Golf Club for the third round of the "Andaman Ultimate Golf Challenge Pro-Am". You play with caddies and carts. Lunch at the clubhouse. In the evening Dinner Party at the Japanese Restaurant at the Andaman Langkawi Resort with open bar.
Friday, 5 July Buffet Breakfast. Transfer to Gunung Raya Golf Resort for the final round of the event. You play with caddies and carts. Lunch at the clubhouse. In the evening Gala Presentation Dinner Night with open bar and local entertainment show at the ballroom of the Andaman Langkawi Resort.
Saturday, 6 July Buffet Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Australia. If you would like to extend your stay, the Andaman Resort has provided us with very special rates or take a ferry to Penang and enjoy Georgetown for a few days. Sunday, 7 July Arrive in Australia

The Tournament The "Andaman Langkawi Ultimate Golf Challenge Pro-Am" will be played over four rounds. The Tournament will be a 4BB team event with an individual stableford and scratch competition. Each team will comprise of one Professional and three Amateur players. All round will be played with caddies and carts. Join a team or form your own. Speak to your club professional if he is eligible to play or contact us for your choice of Senior or Club Professional. Handicap limit for men is 27 and ladies 36. There will be individual and team, daily and overall prizes and trophies.

The Courses:

Gunung Raya Golf Resort

Sprawled over 300 acres of land and surrounded by rich tropical landscape, the course is one of Langkawis most scenic golf resorts. Designed by American Max Wessler, you will encounter beautiful rollling greens, impressive fairways with sand traps and water hazards.

It is an impressive and breathtaking championship course and has hosted several major events since opening in 1998.

99 East Golf Club

Designed by well known Australian Ross Watson, 99 East is a championship course stretching over 7,300 yards. 99 East features signature rice terraces and integrates native forest, wetlands and an orchard valley with beautiful views both over the ocean and across the entire island of Langkawi to the west.

With multiple tee boxes and a mix of Australian, Scottish and Asian desgn it is a challenging and spectacular course.

Non-golfing Program:

The island of Langkawi has a lot to offer to discover and explore over the week. The luxurious Andaman Langkawi Resort is the ideal place to relax with one of the best spas of the island, a beautiful private beach, numerous pools and great cuisine.
