We would to like to invite all golfers and their partners to join The Ultimate Golf Challenge to play at some of the most spectacular golf courses in Canada.

Enjoy travelling on the Rocky Mountaineer train through the breathtaking scenery of the Rockies from Vancouver to Jasper on the Rocky Mountaineer "Journey to the Clouds".

You will play Morgan Creek GC in Vancouver, Fairmont Jasper Park, Banff Springs GC, Predator Ridge and Jack Nicklaus North in Whistler.

Our tour is at the best time of the year with great golfing weather. Truly a trip of a lifetime.

The Schedule

Sun, 4 June

Arrive in Vancouver. Transfer to the 5-star Sheraton Wall Centre Downtown Hotel where your rooms will be ready for early check-in. Spend the rest of the day exploring beautiful Vancouver.

In the evening Welcome Dinner with drinks.

Mon, 5 June

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Morgan Creek Golf Course where you will enjoy a private Trick Show by Sandy Kurceba, the world's number one trick show artist followed by lunch at the clubhouse.

Shotgun start for the first round of the "Rocky Mountaineer Golf Classic 2017" at 1:00pm. You will play in carts.

Evening at your leisure.

Tue, 6 June

Early morning transfer to the Rocky Mountaineer train where you will be served breakfast on route to Kamloops.

The Rocky Mountaineer train takes you on a breathtaking rail journey where you see dramatic changes in scenery from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC interior. Highlights of the trip include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rocksheds along the Thompson River.

Overnight in Kamloops.

Wed, 7 June

Your rail adventure continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the provence of Alberta.

Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park.

Your rail journey ends today on arrival in Jasper. Breakfast and lunch will be served on the train. Evening at your leisure.

Thu, 8 June  

After breakfast at the hotel you will transfer to Fairmont Jasper Park Golf Club for the second round of our Rocky Mountaineer Golf Classic.

Shotgun start at 9:00am.

You will play in carts.

Fri, 9 June

After breakfast  you will travel to Banff via one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway.

A stop will be made at Athabasca Falls before arriving at the Columbia Icefield. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Time will be avaible for lunch.

Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Banff this afternoon.

Take a short walk to dinner at a local favorite tonight, the Ticino Restaurant.

Sat, 10 June

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Banff Springs Golf Course for the third round of the Rocky Mountaineer Golf Classic.

Shotgun start at 9:00am. You play in carts.

After breakfast you depart Banff and travel to Predator Ridge Resort, Vernon and the award winning Predator Ridge Golf Course.

After breakfast at the hotel you will play the fourth round of the Rocky Mountaineer Golf Classic at Predator Ridge Golf Club. Shotgun start at 9:00am

Breakfast at the hotel before checking out and transferring to Whistler with a lunch stop at Lillooet.

After breakfast you will transfer to the Jack Nicklaus North Course for the final round of the Rocky Mountaineer Golf Classic. Shotgun start at 9:00am.

You will play in carts.

In the evening Gala Presentation Dinner at the Delta Whistler Village Suites.

Thu, 15 June  

Breakfast at the hotel before checking out and tranferring to Vancouver International Airport for your journey home.

Canada's master golf course designer Stanley Thompson has displayed some of the finest work of his career. The 18 hole layout offers elevated tees, dramatic bunkering and holes aligned with distant mountain vistas.

Predator Ridge Golf Resort

Rich in history and tradition,  Predator Ridge is set amongst one of the most scenic backdrops in North America.

The course offers a distinctly challenging yet playable layout for golfers of all levels.

Banff Springs Golf Course

Renowned for its panoramic beauty and challenging layout in the heart of the Rocky Mountains Stanley Thompson, designed the original course in 1928.

With breathtaking views in every direction this magnificent championship course winds along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle.

The Competition  

The "Rocky Mountaineer Golf Classic" will be a 4BB team Stableford and individual competition played over five rounds. There will be daily and overall prizes for men and ladies and an overall scratch event for A-grade handicaps. There will be Nearest to Pin and Long Drive during the 5 round competition. Current proof of your handicap will be required.

Trick shot artist Sandy Kurceba

Canadian Sandy Kurceba is the world's number one trick shot artist. Sandy has performed all over the world and gave us the most memorable time at our Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2011.

You will enjoy his one hour show at Morgan Creek Golf Course. Sandy will accompany our tour and will definitely entertain us during this time with anecdotes and lots of fun.

Sandy combines golf and ice hockey in his entertainment show. Simply unforgettable!
